According to a New York Post report, the Pentagon and US military officials are considering planning an extremely large-scale military operation to seize enriched uranium from Iran’s underground and secure nuclear facilities.
Thousands of US military personnel could be involved in this mission. They would surround Iranian nuclear facilities to provide security, clear tunnel entrances and destroyed routes, and secure evacuation routes.
A specialized squad of US Special Operations Forces (SOF) would be responsible for entering the nuclear facilities, extracting the enriched uranium, and transporting it.
According to the report, no final decision has been made on this operation yet, and US officials are reviewing all options and their severe consequences.
